Mehfil incense is a harmonious blend of geranium, vetiver, sandalwood, musk and moss. When burning imagine a unique and beautiful dance of wildflowers that lead into deep woods and fresh green notes, bringing the outdoors in. The inspiration for this scent was the by-gone era of a glamorous ‘old’-India. The havelis and palatial homes have now fallen into disrepair but still have all the soul of great life lived. You hear the scratchy sounds of the gramophone, and smell whispers of perfume oils as soft silks brush past then get a hint of the lingering incense that’s just given us its last, seductive whisper of smoke. The balcony is big and open, the fresh air carries an inkling of the leafy green of the plants in.
In that moment, the room smells like Mehfil.
