Ordered this as a starter kit to satisfy my curiosity as to all the hype surrounding Agarwood. I enjoyed incense when I was a kid still living with my parents but was never knowledgeable about the nuances of the art of incensing. Now, I have a renewed interest for incense, it’s charm and mystery appeal to me. After searching the internet, I came upon the Temple of Incense, I decided to get their Oudh Connoisseur collection. This contains 3 variations of Agarwood. I am hooked, the fragrant wisps of Oudh are elegant and delicate. What impresses me is that burning one stick I can still pick up its ambrosial woody-floral aroma days later. I recommend to anyone who enjoys Agarwood or is curious about incorporating incense into your lifestyle to consider the Oudh Connoisseur collection. I received the Oudh kit and was surprised by a generous offering of free incense samples., I also enjoyed personable customer service, I had questions that were immediately addressed and for these reasons I look forward to using Temple of Incense as my standard for incense as a practical tool, weapon and medicine at once, wielded to banish foul smells and with them disease and evil spirits. the nature of reality, could be taught without sound or language, through perfume, whose nebulousness required supernal focus — the kind necessary to comprehend the universe. The desire to perfume the air we breathe might seem like a return to superstition, hoping to keep death at bay; but for those in quarantine, confined at home, incense offers an escape, opening up increasingly claustrophobic spaces and rendering them, if only for a moment, beautifully unfamiliar.
